👩🏻How man neurodivergent women do you know? It’s curious, isn’t it? increasing awareness, many of us might struggle to name even one. If you’ve read my LinkedIn post, you might remember Temple Grandin. Despite This isn’t because neurodivergent women are rare, but because their experience and traits are often masked or misunderstood.
🧑🏻‍🔬Studies show that conditions like ADHD and autism present differently in women. For example, women with ADHD are frequently misdiagnosed with anxiety or depression. This gender-specific variation leads to a lack of proper support and recognition.
🚀Imagine the innovation solutions we miss out on by not fully embracing neurodivergent women. Their unique perspectives can drive significant advancements across various fields. Recognizing their contributions isn’t just fair- it’s essential for progress.
